If you already have a Binance account, you can skip this step and go directly to step 2.
To use Blackquant solution on Binance, a Binance Futures account is required. But before opening a Binance Futures account, you need to have a regular Binance account.
If you don’t have a Binance account, go to the official Binance website or use our referral link below to get a 10% discount on spot/margin trading fees :
2. Open a Binance Futures account
Once you have completed the registration process for your Binance account or if you already had an account, you can open a Binance Futures account :
Go to "Derivatives" tab then click on "USD(S)- M Futures"

3.1 Get funds in your Binance main account
Before funding your Futures account, you first need to have some funds in your Binance main account.

Buy some crypto-currencies directly from Binance. Several options exist for payments :
3.2 Transfer funds from Binance main account to Binance Futures account
Go to "Wallet" then click on "Futures"
Click on "Transfer" then click on "Futures"
On transfer popup window :

In "To" field , select "USD-M Futures"
In "Coin" field, select "USDT Tether US"
Under "Amount", fill desired amount you want the bot to trade

4. Create API keys
To communicate between your Binance Futures wallet and our system, API keys are necessary.
Go to your account menu then click on “API Management”
Click on "Create API" button
On "Create API" popup window, type desired API label name
Complete security verification if requested by Binance
Once created, please store your Public API key and your Secret API key in a safe place. You will need to copy both keys later on in your Blackquant dashboard.
Go to "Edit restrictions" then activate "Enable Futures"
Click on "Save" button to confirm modifications
Important : if you tick the withdrawals field, funds can be withdrawn through API key. It is highly recommanded to never tick withdrawal option to any API keys.
Note : API Key created before your Futures account open, does not support Futures API service. So if you created an API key first and opened a Futures account after that, your old API key will not work for Futures trading. You will need to create a brand new API key.
